ChattioAmigo Terms of Service
1. The service
ChattioAmigo, operated by PSI Practical Software Innovations (Finland), is an app for practising Spanish through voice and text conversations with an AI-powered friend, review cards and roleplay missions. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
3. AI-generated content
Conversations and corrections are generated by an artificial intelligence system. They may contain errors or opinions we do not share, and they do not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise). Your AI friend is not a person and is not a substitute for human contact or professional help.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription managed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Free trials, where offered, convert into a paid subscription at the end unless cancelled. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to extract from or compromise our systems (including the AI models), not to impersonate others, and not to interfere with the service.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its content belong to PSI Practical Software Innovations or its licensors. You keep the rights to what you say in your conversations; you grant us the licence needed to provide the service (transcribing, analysing and generating your study material), as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We may modify or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where possible.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you mandatorily.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice except in cases of serious breach.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Finland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
